U-He are well known for their detailed and powerful software instruments. Over recent years they have grown from a one-man operation into a larger, successful company based in Berlin. With instruments such as Zebra, Diva, Hive and the soon to be released Repro - a detailed emulation of the Pro-One with some innovative software chops.

We caught up with Urs Heckman, the founder of the company to find out about how he got to here, and got some valuable insight into the methods and technology behind cutting edge software instrument development.
