Mark Verbos is an influential figure in the world of synthesis, based in New York, he started out learning his chops fixing Buchla systems, which then got him started in making custom one-off modules in the Buchla style, now his range of modules is highly regarded in the Eurorack world and he continues to make them as Verbos Electronics. His design philosophy is heavily influenced, as you can imagine by the work of Don Buchla, but his modules are also unique in their own way. As well as this he is often to be found  performing with his own Verbos system and a 909 at large techno and electronic music gigs and festivals. Livin' the dream..

We caught up with Mark at this year's Superbooth in Berlin.
