Moog Sound Lab is a performance series where artists are filmed performing in the Moog Music factory in Asheville, North Carolina.  Moog Sound Lab is all about organic experimentation and is a unique opportunity for artists to explore analog sound-scaping, synthesis and effects.

A spokesperson had this to say about the latest session, "clipping. is William Hutson, Jonathan Snipes, and Hamilton star MC Daveed Diggs, an L.A.-based trio that fuses hip-hop, rap, and experimental sound design. In the latest Moog Sound Lab session, we get an intimate view of their live process. clipping. plays with fast and slow, soft and loud, space and sound, crafting atmosphere with echo, reverb, and a masterful control of dynamics."

The studio version of "Taking Off" is available on clipping.'s debut album CLPPNG (Sub Pop Records). clipping.'s latest release is 2016's Splendor & Misery, available on Sub Pop and Deathbomb Arc.
