It never rains, but it pours, so the saying goes and this week the guys at Source Distribution sent down one of the most anticipated new synths of the year (which is much appreciated). The Arturia MatrixBrute - an unashamed brute of a synth. 3 VCOs, 2 LFOs, twin filters (multi-mode Steiner-Parker and Ladder types), analog effects and the massive modulation matrix - a 16x16 patching matrix that also doubles as patch selection and sequencer.

Its a pretty impressive synthesizer - built like a tank with and BIG.

Due to the fact that we're off to LA for the 2017 NAMM show, we figured we'd have to do the full review when we get back, so we posted this introduction and as usual ask if there were any questions you want to have addressed in the full review.

We'll get to it on our return from NAMM.
