Ampeg do bass. Really well.

So, with the bass gene running through my veins, I always have to check out what's new from the Ampeg guys.
A while ago they introduced the SCR-DI-  an EQ and an Overdrive section in a pedal format. It got some great reviews, but one thing some folks were a bit weirded out by was the fact the two sections worked in parallel, not in series - so they didn't interact, so much as overlay.

So for those that maybe want the option of separate effects, there are now 2 more individual pedals - the Scrambler overdrive, and the Classic Pre-amp.

Larson Haakenstad gave us a demo (spoiler - sounded awesome on the booth, specially that Scrambler ;-)
