When you see a Yamaha DX-1 - you have to stop and listen, but this was a modified one offerring poly aftertouch and hooked up to a bunch of the little Ploytec Pi L Squared bus powered MIDI synth, Literally MIDI in provides the power to the 2 voice DSP synth, with an audio out. They had hooked them up via some ingenious MIDI note programming (done inside each Ploytec unit)

Available now in USB and MIDI versions at 70-80€.
