NAMM 2018: Handheld Sound Computer

US Pipes plays back 64 voices of uncompressed 48KHz 24bit samples direct from memory      25/01/18

Vince De Franco, the creator of the Dimension Beam (licensed to Roland as the D-Beam) and the Mandala Drum, has been in touch to tell us about his newest device, Pipes, which will be on show at NAMM booth 9701.

He had this to say about it,  "Pipes is a handheld sound computer that plays back 64 voices of uncompressed 48KHz 24bit samples direct from memory with only 4ms latency. Up to 20,000 samples always loaded. It's also got Tweakers and Effects."
