High Contrast is a name synonymous with Drum & Bass as well as Pop music - Grammy nominated with 6 studio albums under his belt, countless live performances and a number of high-profile remixes for the likes of Adele, Kanye West, Missy Elliot, Tiesto, FSOL, MJ Cole, The Streets and many more (160 according to discogs!). He's also a fan of breaking with convention, particularly in the Drum & Bass world - and is the first voice you hear on Trainspotting 2, having made the opening track 'Shotgun Mouthwash'. He also played a key role in selecting and producing the music for the Athletes Parade at the 2012 Summer Olympics opening ceremony!
In the latest episode of the 'midierror meets...' podcast, he discusses his love of working in the box, how he believes there are no guilty pleasures, and his love of film; including the work of Alfred Hitchcock. It's a fascinating insight into his down to earth approach to music making, making hit Drum & Bass records for the masses.
