Early Electronic Music Techniques Explained

US Hainbach speedrun at Superbooth      25/05/22

Hainbach recently gave a talk at the Goethe Institut Tokyo and Gebrüder Teichmann focused on early electronic music techniques, with a special emphasis on Stockhausen and the WDR (The Westdeutscher Rundfunk Studio for Electronic Music). In this video, he puts together a piece using all of his learned techniques, in a 'Speedrun' or 'Against The Clock' style - taking processes normally done between multiple people over time and doing them himself, live on stage!

This recording is from his home city of Berlin at Superbooth 2022, which we covered extensively: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLaip4soO49i0GouZZYyE5oy2lraezyePA

We posted an extensive article on the WDR earlier this year. More videos from Hainbach here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCeovElJP0n0i8ADaPsRSd8g
