End Of An Era For Absynth

US Revolutionary softsynth removed from NI product line      08/09/22

Absynth; of the most innovative, feature rich, and unique early softsynths has been removed by NI from its product line. In the video, developer Brian Clevinger talks about the situation, his reaction to it, and what it means for the future of his synth(s). Absynth was one of the most influential and era-defining soft synths of it's time, released in the year 2000 when expressive and powerful VST instruments were at their inception. 

The video features a wealth of comments from users sad to see it go, and we hope that one day it will return in some form or another. Brian is now working on Plasmonic, which can be found on his website below.
