Korg Expands Wavestate Series

US Wavestate SE, Wavestate Limited Edition Platinum, and Wavestate mkII added      21/06/23

Korg  tells us that they are expanding their wavestate lineup to include the Wavestate SE, Wavestate Limited Edition Platinum, and Wavestate mkII. Here's more details direct from the company...

In 2020, Korg introduced the Wavestate. Far from a nostalgic reissue, it took cues from Wavestation, OASYS, Kronos, Nautilus, modular synths, groove boxes and algorithmic composition and delivered something completely new. Today we're unveiling the next step. Wavestate SE and Wavestate mkII.

Designed in California and built in Japan, Wavestate SE includes a premium 61-note keyboard with aftertouch, in an all-metal chassis. Built for a new era of musicians, composers, and producers, Wavestate SE features hundreds of dynamic sounds, extensive hands-on control and 120 notes of polyphony to inspire new levels of creativity. The Wavestate SE is also available in a limited edition Platinum finish.

Korg's legendary Wavestation introduced the world to wave sequencing, and the 37-key Wavestate mkII builds on that legacy with a reimagined, compact synth designed to satisfy today's demanding musicians and producers. MkII expands polyphony to 96 stereo voices and adds a fresh look.
