New Erica Synths Hi-Hat Eurorack Module

US Company continues its educational DIY kits with the mki x es.edu DIY Hi-Hat      08/12/23

Erica Synths has announced its latest module in its mki x es.EDU series: EDU DIY Hi-Hat. This is what they have to say about it...

Sonically, synthesized analog Hi-Hats are pretty fascinating. This is because emulating any kind of cymbal using an analog circuit is a complex process, since the sound a real cymbal produces is not quite pure noise, but also not really harmonic.

Still, a couple classic drum machines like the Roland TR-606 and TR-808 were very successful at this, achieving interesting sounding results that have since become iconic in electronic music. Inspired by this, Erica Synths decided to follow suit and continue its percussion-focused second season of educational DIY kits with the mki x es.edu DIY Hi-Hat.

Pricing and Availability:
The EDU DIY Hi-Hat is available now in the Erica Synths Shop and priced €65.
