The Beach Boys and Frank Black instructed us to 'Hang On To Your Ego', but how important is the Ego when we're playing live? Here we have a short monologue on keeping your ego under control while doing your best to help the audience have fun! We've all been in the situation where we're feeling self conscious on stage, but does that ever lead you to become over confident?

Improv artists Henry Kaiser once told me when he performs live his main objective is to "Just get out of the way". I always admired that approach!
