Peter Verhulst writes:
Like other equipment of Yamaha it is simply superb. It is very easy to use, featuring a nice data dial and an on-board EQ. In comparison with other modules it sonically stands out in realism. I played some midifiles on this machine and unsuspicious audience thought that they were listening to a CD recording... And if you play Liszt you just buy another P-50m and link them to create a maximum of 64 voices (32 for the stereo pianos).

Comments About the Sounds:
There are a lot of piano modules out there. This is by far the most realistic sounding. The main piano patch is strikingly beautifull. It has clarity and presence and the power to cut through a complex mix. Most EP are a bit thin, but very usefull anyway. It also blends very well with the sound of other gear.

(Thanks to Peter Verhulst for this info.)
