its cheap....it tidies up my untidy singing and is really useful in dual mono mode to give a slightly different (panned) tone to a stereo signal such as a drum or groove box. I love it.

On the contrary to what the "bad points" say, you CAN link the two channels for stereo operation. I don't like this compressor at all. It flattens everything that goes into it and the compression is obvious and noisy. But, it's cheap, and it works on anything low in the mix.
