I just bought the software a few days ago. And I am absolutely stoked! Its possibilities are almost endless. I use it together with reactor 2.3 and this gives me a mobile and extremely powerful studio setup that rivals a lot of the hardware live setups around here in Zurich. I use it with a titanium 800, and it wirks like a horse. Timing is perfect, it is stable and works perfectly with my midi controllers. NI is the way to go

This is probably the most intuitive soft synth I've purchased. The fact that it reads Akai samples really make it a bargain. I have been importing drum samples from audio cd's with peak, normalizing, chopping them up with recycle, then importing them into battery. The whole process is quick and easy. I have been able to put together all kinds of kits in no time with this thing. I have so many single samples at my disposal, it's hard to imagine wanting more. The included sounds with battery are fantastic and have up to 16(!) velocity layers. I am tempted to purchase NI's new battery libraries based on how well they programmed the pack in. If anyone has purchased these, I would appreciate some opinions.

It has to be one of the best virtual instruments period. Native Instruments make real excellent products and Battery is definitely one of them. It can read Akai MPC programs and samples also. Off the hook, nuff said.

Battery is the best drum machine in hardware or software period. This software when coupled with Cubase is extremely flexible and great sounding.
