i used roland um-1 and um-4 before,they're all rubbish,except the flawless um-2 i borrowed from a freind for urgent use(just coz the um-1 and um-4 non-working!!!) then i buy the emu 0404 mainly for midi i/o(skip its audio just coz i use motu 24i and digi mbox),but only 1i/1o is not enough for my huge 30+ collections of gears,so i bought this mt-4 and work excellent,i love it and plan to buy amt-8 later.
