i think the yamaha x12/4 is not a very bad machine, i use it for my sound engineering course im studying and it does the job i need. its not somthing you owuld use for profesional use its more for the odd tinker for a cheaper way.

For the money, if you just want a simple console it works well, but I didn't like the way it sounded at all. The interface was pretty good, no tricks to figure out, but it also felt cheap when I mixed on it.

It's a nice thing. I use it for my home-studio. Connecting the instruments to my computer. There's no hissing or something like that. Easy to use. Since I bought mine ($250) the prize's of this thing went up. So be quick!!
