I've been using it before it was even out, pre version one. It is based on a great program called "beyond" I just hope Cakewalk makes a feature upgrade to OS X.

I'm Using Metro 4.5 and it's one of the BEST sequencing programs I've seen. It has great sequencer options that allow you to do just about anything you want to your music. Built in arppegiator, Drum variation "Rhythm Explorer", Notation that's easy to use, and more. I find the user interface intuitive and as complex as you wish to make it.
I have a friend that is using "Logic Audio Silver" and believe it or not, the program is so complicated he is sequencing on a more simplistic and OLDER "Master Tracks" program rather than using Logic. Which one would you rather have? A real expensive program to "Say that you have it?" Or a REAL down to earth PowerHouse Program?

I use Metro 3.5 (upgrading to 4 w/ notation soon). It's small but incredible. It's the most intuitive, simple interface you can imagine. You can draw out your controller changes (like sketch out a cutoff sweep or pitch bend)with a pen tool. We've been using it to play live for a year now and never had a screw-up.
Some people consider it a beginners's tool. Not so. I've used Logic, Cakewalk for PC, etc., and I find that you do so much so much more quickly in Metro than in those other programs. I guess it's considered beginners because something so easy to use couldn't be so powerful. That opinion is incorrect.
If you use a Mac, get it.
