Best electric guitar mike ever! Putting this in front of a 4x12 about a foot and a hlaf away aimed right at the center is teh best guitar amp sound. It even sounds good up close on the grill cloth. Hard to find. strange looking for a dynamic. Works great with older Quad 8, Calrec, Neve mic pres.

Great sounding mic for the price. Nothing you can not bring it in front of. No lack of frequencies, perfect allrounder that performs nice. Having 3 of them i would prefer them as a dynamic before a lot of others. Even the older ones have a nice sound (but some roll off...), unused ones should have a wind screen over it (maybe too crystal clear:-). first choice after nice condensers. don't ever buy sm58 if not for the name and the customers (i did chorus vocals on them myself over years and loved it until i had my first 201)...nuff about it.
