I just purchesed a at4033 and am hoping it is as good as the reviews are. I personally know one very popular country singer that will not record on anything else but he has a very trnner voice I just hope it works good on baratone. all I've herd about this mic is good.If it's good enough for a recent hall of famer surly It's good enough for me.

The 4033 would be a great mic for any project or home studio collection. Compared to it's high end line. For example, the 4060, which has a bigger sound. It sounds great with a top line channel strip. I have used the 4033 with an Avalon 737 and received fantastic results. The 4033 has an up front sound compared to it higher end models. Although, with a little EQ an compession. The recorded artist was always satisfied.

Audio Technica has done it again...I own three, and they sound incredible on just about anything I use them on...try them as drum overheads, you'll be very happy...I highly recommend this mic to anyone who is in the market for affordable professional sound....it's quite warm too. I often choose this mic over my Neumann U87!!

I also have an AKG C3000 but I tend 2 use the AT4033 more frequently. Has anyone compared it to the RODE NT2? what's u'r verdict? I'm thinking of buying a Rode NT2 and I wanna know if it's any good.
