My VM3100Pro came as part of the Roland Studio Pack, which also included a RPC-1 card and Emagic Logic software for the PC. Great value, all for only $695.
So far, I am very happy! I'd recommend it to anyone that wants the features that come with a digital mixer.
Great starter mixer for a hobby studio.
Things I already wish it did:
1. More sample rates, higher than 44.1. 2. Flying faders, they don't physically move like the expensive boards.

I can't believe they were dumb enough to put only 2 dynamics processor!!! Even a Promix01 does better ! Nonetheless 8 bus is a major advantage.
