i am not out to burst any bubbles BUT! i just heard these speakers in england last week. these speakers sounded just as good as the Tannoy Reveals in my ears. when a person decides to build a cabinet to house a driver, there is great thought into creating dead or inert walls in order that there in less or no ringing! one of the ultimate test of this cabinet ringing is to tap hard on the sides of the box or container with your knuckle. if there is a destinct single tone that you can hear. it is likely that there will be an audible increase of noise at that ringing frequency, while the speakers are playing music. if a container uses three seperate containers to hold a certain driver, it is possible to have three seperate resonant frequencies. = not a good thing! plus those things are ugly as SIN! but after all my opinion is only that. i refuse to score this item because i have not used it in my home. try looking for some used Tannoy concentric 8" or larger speakers. i got some for $400. plus the stuff from KRK are also nicer

I don't think these are the best monitors in the world or anything, but the are excellent esp. for the price, also they look awesome so I'll give em a 10 just to balance out FanaticLoser's ratings of 1 of ten.

Absolute non-sense,

These are wonderful speakers with great frequency response in all ranges. Plus they're cool as hell to look at, and there is some very sound scientific work that went into their creation. Can't honestly believe that a set of JBL's better the venerable Blue Room Minipods.

Sure I like my Klipsch monitors slightly more (more wattage), otherwise these are some of the finest speakers made..

Very Ugly....hehe But anyway...i gave it a try....and...was disappointed... I did a side-by-side test with JBL Control 1... JBL won!

Try before buy! Its just a designer-hype.
