Manufactured in Japan for 3 or 4 years during the 90s, these units are still used by performers and studios. They have a simple, straight forward interface and are well built with good quality electronics.

Nice midi patch bay. I bought it used a few weeks ago for $35. Clever yet simple control: Set the 8 output sliders to (input) A,B,C,D, or Off. I took the cover off and looked inside: it's very well made. The only LED is power, otherwise unit is unlit. Still, it works perfectly.

Nice cheap midi solution for those of us on a budget. Enough to get a modest midi setup talking as a group, nice way to control up to eight bits of gear through your favorite piece of sequencing software.

Solid build, got mine from a pawn shop and though it looks kind of old it worked right away. It's very simple, no LEDs to show activity but for a basic piece of gear it fits the bill quite nicely.
