The below comments are 100% correct. The Win98 driver support sucks. BUT, I use Windows 2000... if you hava Win2k and plan on sticking with it, GET THIS BOX. It's got everything and more, and the WDM drivers work flawlessly in Win2k. I know they suck in Win98, though- I bought the interface before I upgraded my OS. I was thinking of taking it back it was so buggy! You should have Win2k anyway, it's far superior to XP/ME/9X... but if you don't, just get an AMT 8, if you don't need SMPTE.

WARNING! Do not buy this sh... ! I´ve bought this interface half a year ago and faced nothing but trouble (win98). Though the hardware is ok, the software interface and the drivers are the worst nightmare. The Windows utility to configure the interace does not work correctly with drivers(!) of the interface. The utility itself crashes randomly, even if it starts the first time. And even if You manage to install the drivers and get this thing to work, don´t be sure that this will be for long... I had to reinstall it several times. The software just does not start sometimes without any visible reason and booting windows again does not seem to help.... Under some circumstances it seemed even to be nescarry to delete all "motu" entries from the windows registry to reinstall the drivers. I´ve wasted to much energy and time in this thing.

It is my advise not to buy this devise, if You want to do music and not want to spend Your time on editing the windows registry and alike. ...

just one comment: DON'T buy this if you run windows XP, it doesn't work together with XP. I had to give mine to a friend...
