I have an XT hooked up to logic audio 4.0. I have gone through many upgrades and changes in software (and even done alot of things that they say I am not supposed to do with it) and I have had zero problems. I have found it to be a very stable interface. Once the initial setup was done - everything worked perfect from there, and has for 2 years now.

I've been using the Midi Express XT with Logic Audio for two years. Never had problems. The only one I had was due to the Win95 Midi Bug (no more than 11 Midi ports). I have 6 channels connected to it. It works flawlessly.

I'm using it with Cubase/Win95 and it works flawlessly, including with Sounddiver, maybe because I never updated the drivers.. The software interface is great, plenty of possibilities with routing. Panic button makes your life easier with stuck notes. Frontal access midi ports are convenient. A very serious product, I'm glad I bought it !

MOTU sucks. Just trust me. NT drivers for anything? Forget it!

I had to revert back to the 1.0 drivers in order for the XT to work with Sounddiver. The latest drivers posted on MOTU's webpage barfs on sysex data. More like a downgrade IMO.
