Quite happy with them. Bought them for $530aud. Nice and cheap. Had to bump them down 2dB in the high end. The image is fair and low end is a bit floppy. But all in all great sounds for the price.

These monitors are good reference but since the second I turned them on (no audio cable yet)I had a great deal of hissing and radio noise. For the price I paid (670 CND) I was expecting a better shieilding. I can tell you that : If you live in a city with a large amount of waves coming through your home, buy something else...

Are these monitors great? Nope. Are they a great deal? Big Yup! When I heard these in a store, I was pleasantly suprised. When I got them home, I like them even better. The highs are not nearly as harsh as they were in the store. Nor are the monitors that fatiguing (no more than most monitors on the market). One thing I really like is that they crank, loud and pretty clear. And so far, they've seemed to translate pretty well. How I heard a mix on them, and how it sounded in the car, is darn close...and that's the bottom line for monitors. They offer great bass response and decent highs and imaging. Overall, I again really like how they sound. I purchased them as a second set, seeing as I swear by my Monitor Ones, to use kinda as my "mains". I've been using them exclusively lately to get used to them, and am quite happy with my purchase. Not the best in the range (I'll reserve judgement 'til I hear the BX-8s), but it competes well with all of the other sub-$500 offerings. Peace

I got mine for $900(Australian) about a year ago. I produce mainly electronic music and thruth's are great, highs are bit stronger but u can alternate. Bi-amp design with lot of power and i never had any problems with them. I give them a 9, because of the price and they do sound good.
