this thing blows, bought it a few years ago and it never worked, downloaded all the drivers, still never got it to work, wasted like $450 in the most expensive paperweight ever.

I bought 2 of these years ago because I needed 16 channels and the Midex8 was one of the few models that could handle 2 on the same machine. I'm not doing anything all that complex .. just driving synths/modules and a bunch of controllers. They still work great and I have no complaints.

Nothing like the mpc, i havnt noticed any differance from any other 8x8 interfaces ive used.. i own this and midi express xt which is serial and its exactly the same.. a bit overpriced. but whatever..
