First time users seems to be left alone without possibilities to upgrade to v.2. Since v.1 was so full of bugs it seemed more like a final beta! Guess i have to by myself a completely new v.2 package :-( hmm... 300€... Nope going for a different brand! Hope they up themselves.

I have sampletank,Tried out Kontakt,Neither one can come close as far as sound design and sonic quality. It;s a shame this is not so popular.OH well I guess some people will have to miss out because this State of the art sampler, does not have the brand name(Native instrumensts).

Sounds fantastic. Hands down the best sounding sampler made. You don't need fancy sound card or rewire, Mach Five sounds great right out of the box.

It's a CPU hog, and it's kind of buggy. I like it, but there is room for improvement in terms of performance.

I like the effects too. Overall, I'd say Mach Five is one of those rare "all-in-one" package solution that works on a professional level.

I give it a 10 for sound quality. But, sadly, I give it a 8 overall because it's got bugs and you really can't push it hard with out crashing every few minutes.

The good news, the next version will support streaming audio and that will free up system memory which should fix most if not all the problems with the current version.

MachFive is great once you get it working with DP4. Getting it to recognize the soundfiles is different than what is printed in the manual. You have to move the sound libraries to where the program can see them. The location is not exactly as described in the manual.
