Acid Pro is with out a doubt the best innovation to arrive to home recording. Its almost like having a ministudio. Its like having a sampler and mixer on the pc. Even if you don't like to work on the computer the program is a must have since it saves time with impressive results. Using the program would be quite natural for producers and Djs, but musicians can also benefit when they adjust it for their needs.

Acid can be DOPE with the right sounds.. A recommend if you make hip hop, to go to BangiNBeats.com or somewhere & get some hot drums kits. It will make a world of difference. Also, you cant rely on the looping drums all the time. Use one shot drums and form your own track, trust me its the way to go for hip hop. yu can make it sounds like an mpc with the right sounds and if you use it right.!

Acid is great and the program is not too shabby either. I was fairly reluctant to use it just due to how simple and how "cut & paste" it was. It's actually pretty dope though. I would definatly recomend Acid 3 over previous versions by far. Miscreants Rule !

Its funny how people review software and hardware and complain that it doesnt have everything they need. This program is used for time compression and looping. Its main strengths isnt sequencing. Ive used acid in combination with cubase vst and my hardware synths for doing remixing. acid 3.0 has some pretty great features like the auto bpm feature. Sure it may not have an exact sync but it sure does help. I use it to take finished tracks and get an estimated bpm then chop the song up to a click track manually. it sure does wonders. I use cubase to sequence and arrange riffs and stuff then chop and place them in proper sync to the song afterwards.
