Using ProTools 6.1 on OS X. Very good software, no problems yet. Everything works fine. Very stable. Very good quality. On a G4 Dual 1000 it works very fast. One point are the rather long delays when you switch between preview and no effect in the effects section.

not all the truth ,just only part of it...i used 867 dual powermac w/ le sometimes wouldn't let me solo or mute the tracks,or even no sounds output....and about the newest le v5.3.3 for win xp sp1,even worse than the mac version, crash, crash crash even after i click the simple normalise function after i record it,i swear i do all preparations and all suggestions for system optimisation from the digidesign/protools manual instructions.

I am reviewing Pro Tools LE 5.1...the software is incredible. It's everything I've looked for in a recording program and more. I've used other software and this easily wins any competition....not to mention, this has never crashed. (knock on wood) my system at all. Its the most stable and versatile on the market.
