I think it's amazing.. I'm using it off and on right now for a friend's video project. It's unbelievable simple and easy to use. Totally recommended. Wonderful range and quality of samples, drumloops, etc. Only things I think it's missing are some good free brass samples... that is, unless you have the paid-for versions of it's large quantity of plug-ins. Then it's all good. =D
Oh, just FYI, there is no version 9 yet, it only goes up to version 6. You can find it and other versions at www.fruityloops.com.

I've been a user of FL for 4 yrs. I have a Protools 7(002R)on PC & G4, Logic on a G4, Keyboards and an MPC. Even with all this equipment I still love using FL. Simplicity is sometimes what a producer needs. If I can't start out a track in 30mins then I just trash everything and start over new. If U have no cash, get FL6 and invest in VST instruments with a Midi Keyboard. Trust me, If you can play the keyboard and work FL you can be the next Scott Storch. No Joke.
