Focusrite are putting out a limited edition of this mic preamp/EQ unit, although exactly how limited it will be I don't know. The original ISA 110 was designed by Rupert Neve for use in George Martin's Air Studios in London sometime in the 80's and became very popular, eventually mutating into the Blue series ISA 215. This current model has switchable Hi and Lo pass filters, Shelving EQ section and parametric EQ section.

Good Points
Basically it sounds great, preamps and EQ don't get a lot better than this. The preamp is clean and crystal clear, and the filters, each with six switchable settings unobtrusively reduce any top or bottom end nuisance noise. The shelving EQ section has high and low bands with switchable frequencies and sounds very natural, even with quite large amounts of cut or boost applied. The parametric section has two overlapping bands and offers very powerful control over any frequency from 40Hz up to 18kHz. Overall, using both shelving and parametric EQ together, there is a massive degree of versatility. Combined with a microphone and a decent quality compressor this would provide an excellent signal path for any recording system.
