The Roland M-480 is a 48 mono or 24 stereo, 6U, rack mount line mixer. 4 effects sends, 2 aux sends, 6 stereo/mono returns, monitor out, sub out, and 2 stereo master outs (1/4" and XLR.) According the sales brochure, it was developed with input from well known professional keyboard players and studio engineers.

Good Points
48 inputs makes this the largest rack mount line mixer ever made by Roland (or anyone else for that matter.) This mixer is ideal for keyboard players, electronic musicians, and studios to mix or submix synthesizers, samplers, drum machines, etc. Multiple send and return busses make this an extremely flexible line mixer.
Bad Points
Rare - only made from 1990 - 1992 and in small numbers. It's best to audition before buying as used mixers may have scratchy or dead channels. It's also big, 6RU (but smaller than a comparable console mixer.) No on-board EQ or effects but can be added via Effect and Aux Sends.
