This is one of ARP's last synths. Its sound quality is pretty good. Basses are pretty good (although i wouldn't say as good as a MOOG or an SH-101). The things i think that stand out about this machine is the ring modulation + pitch envelope modulation which, when applied, can produce anything between a percussive, metallic, bell-like sound to a sharp, screeching, raspy sound. It also allows you to run external audio through its filter and ring modulator. One of the more obscure ARPs but a great all-around machine for that analog sound.
