Quite a departure for Roland, but in a way just the next logical step for a common melting pot for all of their variOuS technologies. Perhaps most importantly Rolands only serious VA since the JP series was released, and if anyone should be doing squelchy TB acid lines from a monosynth, its should be Roland The Vproducer specifically seems like a promising marriage of soft and hard applications I'm looking forward to see what else they do with the platform.
