XV 5080 have many new things like 24 bit A/D and new reverbs from SRV 3030.Also new effects like RSS,isolator,formant filter and COSM.New modulation matrix and stereo playback(two waveforms per tone or op to 8 waveforms in a patch).1083 waveforms : 112 JD 990 waves,448 JV 1080 waves and 424 new waves+ 100 new drumsamples, expandble to 512 MB( 384 MB ROM and 128 MB RAM)It can have 4 new SRX expansion board(64 MB) and 4 SR JV.IT read Akai S 1000/3000 programs and Roland S 760 patches/performance.And many more IT IS A SUPER SYNTH.
