this thing has shocked me time and time again! if its a choice between a alesis and the zoom the zoom wins hands down. i have like 11 songs in the memory and it has only used 25% of the memory. the 3 tracks of drums really helps when you want an analog sounding bass drum and real high hat/ snare sounds. the bass patches are really cool too. anything from rock to rap good for the price thats for sure!

the bass drums are awsome! very good for techno/rap/ hip hop whatever very good bass guitar sound as well
