Great sound. Odd a bit mellow but nice kind of saturated sound. It's an inspirational synth but for your fundamentals I would look elsewere. Easy to edit-program, effects are OK but I can't really be bothered since I have good outboard stuff. Good stuff, worth the money.

I purchase my Virus C for 879£(pound)with air freight(UPS) from London. The virus synths are so hard get hold on i Sweden so i buy them from a shop in London (Turnkey). The price is whitout V.A.T.

A tip about the Virus is to turn off Unision mode off the presets. I think i sound much better. If you not into Tranc (Ugh).

/Peace

Hello, Astronomer. I think your comments about Virus and Andromeda are quite interesting (poor Virus, how unfair to be put just besides the Big Blue Monster From Outer Space). True analog will always(?) sound better... but what a price. You can't compare the Neuron with the SH32 without noting the price difference. Well, you can, but it's not fair. :)

I paid 1500 euro for the Virus two months+ ago in Spain, and I think I've seen it a bit cheaper in German online stores.

DO bother with a Virus C, even if you have a B. When the B was first released it didn't have nearly the features it has now. Access is often releasing OS updates and constantly improving their synths. If you want a synth that is pretty much maxxed out, get a B. But if you buy a C it will not be long before it is bristling extra features, and it will continue to evolve for a number of years.
