The S1000 is like the perfect woman:

Cheap and utterly trustworthy.

Not the best sampler around, but if you put your mind to it there is little that can't be coaxed out of it. Get one with at least 8Mb and the Digital I/O.

Best quality: It will live longer than you will - bequeath it to someone.

i think the s1000 is a breaktrhu for the akai aND NO MATTER what produts comes in the future this one might go in the museum of classic a sampler.. i just love it by the way any one out there who is kind enough to send me the owners manual of the akai s1000 as i have a friend who is using it in the spare time and he needs the manual.. pleASE IF YOU HAVE IT upload a copy on my email address
