There is a junk shop where I like to look for bargins. The last amazing buy was a SHS-10 Keytar that only had a missing battery cover and cost $2AU! I thought that was the best bargain ever. That was until I found a CTK-530 keyboard sitting in a wheelie bin. The guy at the shop looked at me weird saying it was "long gone". I took it home and plugged in the power cord from my other Casio keyboard. There was no power to the machine. I opened up the CTK-530 and notice the solders where loose on the power input. I simply resolded it and hey presto, the keyboard is all fixed. It cost me $2AU as well!

This keyboard's sounds are very weak. I use it as MIDI controller and that work just fine. Besides a mod wheel and pitch shift don't know how this could be a better controller. F the built in sounds. If you have one lyin around, use it as a controller.

Bought one to start with. Worse keyboards can be bought, but as my keyboard teacher said, if you wnat to learn to play, but one with better keys. I added a fatar studio 900 second hand, but that has the touch of a piano.

hi fellow users and prospective buyers, its a cheap instrument for beginning, though a 2nd hand will be better. MIDI is OK for beginners.separate drumpads could've been better.
