I've just got an MS6 having wanted one for years and it ROCKS big time....great fitlers, the analog strings make a Juno sound rather thin, give me 2 DCO's over a Chorus every day....downside is the Sysex implementation, however there are third-party OS upgrades that address this issue and several otehrs (there's one that gives you all parameters under continuous controllers for instance, as soon as mine gets that then I'll do a big Cubase mixer map for it....I'm also gonna try and add individual outs

Fat sounds, due to the brilliant filters. Poor workmanship and build, but it was made by Cheetah! Sometimes noisy, sometimes not. One of the first "next generation" analogue synths.

I'm with mrkrpto - I just bought one without a manual and once I'd worked out you had to be in bank 8 for all the performance/utility parameters it was a synch!
I needed a pad machine so badly and now I got it. Sooooo cheap too. And there a Cardiff company - what more could you ask for?

So nice to see others who love this box. I bought mine new and it remains one of the best values of all the analogs. It can do pretty cool bass but is really at home for pads, analog percussion and strange noises. I disagree abt. the programming, I find it actually really easy to program as long as I have a basic idea of what I'm looking for starting out. With the one-page editing map in hand, it's as easy as any push-button front panel can be. Would love knobs though. The multi-timbral has never been to useful for me because of the mono out, but when you use that funciton to build big mega-oscillator patches, it's damn cool.

An excellent synth with analogue filters! A real man's synth with none of this huge LCD screen rubbish. Multitimbral and responds to aftertouch! My boyfriend loves it! (And the MS6).
