What are you waiting for? Don't read this, go out and try one. That is the only way you will truly know if this synth is for you. All I can say is that it's brilliant, easy to use and sounds incredible.

The Nord Modular is just too expensive, and coming with a stripped version won't make it interesting either : where are all the buttons and knobs?
The micro Modular is just a piece of software with a hardware playback device.
Last but not least, there is no editor for Apple machines!
ATTENTION Clavia : a lot of software companies are bringing competitive software (ever tried Koblo.com?) and you may find it hard to get our cach.

This baby rules!! I love the Nord Modular, but that one is to expensive for me. The MicroModular is really cheap, it sounds amazing and the editor is very easy to use. Remove some knobs and reduce some voices from the modular and you've got the Micro. Cheap. Clavia has done good to humanity with this synth. It's a Moog, it's a Juno, It's a MS-20, in fact it is every synth you can name in a small box and a PC editor.
Can I have one, PLEASE?

I've tried this little beasty for a little time now and it really rocks! It's great if you're into creating your own sounds and synths. It's not something for all you preset people out there. But if you get to know this thing it's really powerfull.
Sadly for the small polyphony, but the quality and the possibilities make up for it!
