pretty nice italian signorita, excelent handling very clear knob layout, like modeling the tone with your hands, big sound, very efective filtersection, nice modulations (2lfo , one of it with s&h, and staircase), fully polyphonic on every key, very very f**king damn cool modulation stick.a realy great sounding synth, built in a heavy duy case (only one handle, it will length you the arm.) one of my alltime favorite synth

Simon from South East England writes:
I've had my DS-2 since 1981. There's a few dodgy buttons and switches, but it is or was the best noise making synth I've ever played. Excellent for wierd/harsh/squelchy/space/cacophonic sounds.

I'd sell it though, because I'm broke and the DS-2 is too big. What would you pay for it?

PVF from Germany writes:
I got this synth for 100 DM used and I think I made the best deal of my life with that since I found out that the avarage used price is 500 DM. Ok the NOISE section don't work but the rest works just fine. Excellent selfoscillating moog alike filter which enables to do nice laser sound effects and abso-punchy basedrum sounds :oD Pulse modulation is gr8 4 fat leads. Best for Techno and House.

Scott Herren a professional user from atl.ga.USA writes:
I have owned a DS2 for a couple of years and in comparison to other analog

shit I've toyed with, this thing is the fucking bomb! It's limitless for random sounds

and complete surprises. Once you get the swing of it, you can figure out right

where to go(resonance at 10, then go buckwild). I am experiencing a weird

non tonal buzzing feedback, so anyone with that manual please hit me up....

Otherwise, find this synth and be the envy of all your little moogy friends.

peace...

Sven Masschelein a professional user from Belgium writes:
I liked the superb tones the synth good give me but unfortunetly the poor thing broke up on me.

I'm now in search of somebody that can give me some technically advice how to

fix it up again. I would be a shame that this great synth kept silent forever.

Thanks.
