Great live performance keyboard, prefer it over my Trinity Pro. Great piano, e.pno, brass, keyboard/string pads. The only 76 note weighted full feature unit around. Only down side is organ patches should have been set up with leslie slow/fast effect and sustain pedal polarity is not adjustable.

All I can say that this is the best sounding beast on the market. Period! I really love the Triton but there isn't a workstation with better sounding patches. Sorry, Triton. Nothing can f*** with it. The electric piano sounds. Unmatchable. Drum kits....don't even think about it. Sounds better than any drum machine/sampler on the market. I have an ASR-X and if it had sounds like the ZR-76, I wouldn't have to spend hundreds of dollars on samples diks and cd-roms to get industry standard sounds. The ease of use is astonishing...the metronome on the sequencer talks. It has so many features to even count. It's a true workstation...if it had a built in sampler, I would give it 10 out of 5. Did I mention it has 1200 built in sounds. It also plays MR-61/76 sounds too. Buy yourself a sampler and the music creativity would be endless. The only minute setback is that isn't widely supported outside of Ensoniq. With 1200 built in sounds and 40 effects who needs third party support. I can't wait for ZR-76's successor. Give it 5, baby.

It's the best keyboard I've owned since the Korg Polysix used to sit on top of my Rhodes piano... it's been a long time since I've actually liked the board I'm using.

I have owned this board for a year and a half now and have played 400+ shows with it. It is an awesome board for live or studio application. I also have put other keyboards in it's class to the test, side by side to really make sure it is what I believed it to be. The keyboards I tested it against were the korg triton, XP-80, Korg trinity, and alesis qs8. My assessment after all that....The ZR-76 blew them all away!!! The sounds.....VERY PHAT, the ease of use....10+ rating. Awesome board! Don't be afraid to run out and get one right now. After all it is the last workstation that the original ensoniq engineers designed.
