This is an excellent machine which can be bought for very friendly price on the internet. I bought mine for less than 300$ and it's worth the price. I use it with a midified guitar and it works perfectly. I don't like the wall-wart power supply ... Sounds are OK, but the machine is not user friendly and i am desesperatly seeking for the user manual... I rate it 4/5

Since ten years I am a onemanband playing a singing for local and oficial celebracion. I am playing as masterkeyboard an Yamaha HS4 and two Korg I5m´s at the same time giving to the sound a wide performance and variability. I´m looking out for (tecno) cumbia styles for Korg and want to know I someone has experience using a midi controller managing masterkeyboard and the I5m Modules

I am a pro musician and arranger and run a home studio set-up. The i5m is probably the most useful tool I have from a recording stand point. The voicings are excellent but ultimately it is the drum sounds and patterns that makes this unit a winner. On a final mix I challenge anyone to detect the difference between synth drums and accoustic drums. Also this is a relatively easy unit to use once you are familiarised with Korg synthesis.
