Three months back i have purchased a Extreme 61. Althought the built is very nice and souns are cool, but guitar sound selection is not that wide. even trinity was have quit good variety for guitar sounds. all remaining is is very good. especially the usb options and, compact flash storage. but i am working on it for my fusion instrumentals. percussions souns are quit good. But i don't know why some banks and pathes are left blank by default. any way i am happy with the the power full tool, taking me beyond the limits

I bought this earlier in the year, played with it, upgraded it, found it too dance orientated, and then sold it... for the same price I purchased it in only 2 weeks.

As for a triton extreme rack version, probably they will, or maybe they won't ?

Let's see what NAMM 2005 brings us.... ??????

I recently upgraded my Triton Classic 61 to Triton Extreme 61. The build of Extreme is quite light compared to its fore fathers...However, it carries the same Engine of the Other tritons (HI Synthesis) It has also 160MB of huge samples and the polyphony being 120 voices..

My main intention was to buy a Studio..But studio still goes by SCSI which is fading off slowly..

Extreme takes in Compact Flash card and has 2 USB ports (A,B) You can connect a CD-Writer or a External Harddisk or a Thumb/FlashDrive (Great !!) to the USB port of Extreme..This was the one I loved on this Blue beast...

Go for it as Korg discontinued all the Old Triton classic models..soon you may have problems in getting the spares for older tritons..

It's time to say farewell for the Older tritons..

Let's welcome The New Extreme...
