K2500RS is THE be all end all synth. You honestly do not need anything more once you get hold of one of these. NIN/Downward Spiral, need I say more

I own a K2500, it is a superb, outstanding piece of gear. Superb sound quality, fully programmable and configurable. I almost get every sound I imagine. Just a drawback: I cannot balance dry/wet effect for every track separately, unless I use other hardware. Dave.

Purchased a K2000 with the PRAM and fan upgrade as an Xmas gift for myself. Given my past experience with other keyboards, I have to say that Kurzweil is on target. The best I've had, lot's of options for expansion and upgrades.

If you really wanna to get something outrageous - do not hesitate to buy it. It's really great. Any sound you can imagine - you can create (after scrutinizing of manual, of cource). I play techno for three years. It's the best gear I've ever heard. As for techno players, of course you can purchase The Raven or something of E-mu and get tied of it after one or two months. But if you wanna something YOURS - turn to K2000/K2500. However, it's noisy. Better use some special gear to reduce it. BUTTTTTTTTTTTTT - recently I got a chance to play E-Synth. GOSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! O.K. No comments more.

Since I bought my K2000/K2500 samplers/synths, I never seriosuly thought about buying another synthesizer! I am producing music for TV/Radio, and I never had to apologize because of "technical problems". See also my review on the K2000 site.
