Well, I have to update my comments.... I found out that 9-bit simms will do just fine, don´t spend your money on those 8-bits. And I also bought a scsi-harddisk, 100mb, and it works fine after a few problems. After i´ve played with this unit and spent all my time with it, i´d say it´s a perfect choice for anyone, a professional or a hobbyist. Buy it instantly if you have the money! Try out the sampledump feature and you´ll fall in love with this machine! No need for cheesy samplers if you can sample with your computer. It can do ANY type of sound, it´s as good as ANY analog machine, better than a 303 (however it has no arpeggio), or a juno. The sound-altering-algorithms provide you with an unlimited variety of sounds and fun for the rest of your life...! BUY IT!!! It´ll change your life.
