My first real voltage-controlled instrument. Much easier to use once I tracked down a user's manual. Sounds very good for a single oscillator.

The ribbon controller is great. The mod section is great. The filters are unreal. The sound possibilities are extensive. The keyboard is, ummm. A & R are nice, but where are D & S? Those white switches. Hmmmm... slightly cryptic. Buy this little beast for earth-shattering basses, pretty leads, fx and percussive noises. What else is there, really? Mine set me back 300 oysters. That's really only $9.38 per key.

Although I haven't gotten the chance to play many other moogs, I think the micro, which I own, is a wonderful little all around analog synth. It's definitly a must buy if you can find it for $400 or, hopefully, less.

I really love the thing. It's very useful for different kinds of sounds used in today new music. I love the

low bass sounds that you can hit on it. Of course I had mine for many years.

It needs to be cleaned, and it will be fine.

i think that the micro moog...is an awesome instrument....its just like my mini moog only easier to use, yet its a little thinner...but hey look at the price too...if you can get this on for under $500...your doing good......i got mine in mint condition at a pawn shop in missouri....for $150.....they must have been stupid or something.. hey its always good to check those handy-pawn shops....the people in there only give about $50-$80 to the people who turn in precious vintage synths.....multiply that by 3 and that's what your gonna pay.. peace..
